Mindful Movement Rock Climbing


Experience a profound state of present moment awareness; Calm and focused mind, strong and energized body, meditation in motion, and a deep connection with nature 



during which participant are introduced to the fundamentals and subtleties of rock climbing focusing in particular on aspects of mindfulness, relaxation and stress management, breathing, flow as well as integrated movement. We also provide practical instruction on belaying techniques, knot tying safety and communication procedures adapted to rock climbing. Following a brief introduction to slack lining that we use as a mind-body preparation, your instructor will set up your climbs for you to experiment with mind-body integrated movement and the application of relaxation and mindfulness techniques in order to optimize your climbing performance and hopefully reach a state of flow while being immersed in a beautiful natural environment
