About
Welcome to our Worldschooling hub of Southern Thailand! An eco-adventure 10 Days gathering is a temporary community of similarly minded families sharing and exploring together approaches to learning, emancipation, sustainable living, experiencing the magic of nature and how to guide and support future contributors to a more resilient planet. We offer a well-balanced mix of environmental education, sustainable living experiences, outdoor leadership activities, cultural immersion, and self-development practices.
Our program is highly adaptable and we plan to progressively immerse participants in four key areas:
Nature, Mindfulness, and Movement: We focus on transformative learning, building confidence, outdoor leadership, nature awareness, mindfulness, and self-discipline.
Experiential Nature Education and Cultural Immersion: Krabi is rich in natural and cultural capital, and we explore these hands-on, focusing on community service, community-based natural resources conservation, permaculture, and sustainable living workshops.
Unschooling/Worldschooling Workshops: We propose activities, meet new people, and create memories that provide a context for sharing parenting experiences during facilitated workshops.
Reflections: Towards the end of the retreat, we focus on self-reflection through nature therapy, energy healing, and sound healing. These practices enable a deeper, gentle debriefing and life realignment.
Krabi, Thailand is the perfect location for our Worldschooling program, with its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty. Join us for an unforgettable experience that will enrich your mind, body, and soul.
our approach
As our objective is transformation not just knowledge acquisition, we are using a form of pedagogy that is dedicatedly experiential, mainly self-directed and based in local reality (place-based). All learning experiences are based in nature, with focus on helping learners develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically and intellectually. We intentionally create a safe, non-judgemental nurturing environment for learners to try stuff out and take risks. Our approach to risk means that learners constantly expand on their abilities by solving real-world issues, building self-belief and resilience. We believe that risk is more than just potential for physical harm, but a more holistic thing, there are risks in everything we do, and we grow by overcoming them. We therefore, help participants to become, healthy, resilient, creative and independent learners.
