our programs
Building adaptive capacity in coastal communities to support nature-based social innovation and social-ecological resilience
Our programs are built on a community-led, forest-to-reef approach to ecosystem restoration and regenerative development. We recognize that forests, mangroves, seagrass meadows, and coral reefs are deeply interconnected, and that damage in one ecosystem affects the health of the others.
By working directly with local communities, we combine scientific research, hands-on restoration, and traditional knowledge to restore ecological connections, strengthen resilience, and support livelihoods. Our place-based work creates real impact on the ground while contributing to broader learning in regenerative and integrated ecosystem management.
