The NMED Camps

From specific educational camps to customised educational programs.

These camps are in essence experiential, they may incorporate some elements of directed learning with “educational’ objectives when relevant but mostly focus on life-skills building and character development.

We support local biodiversity with conservation projects, provide healthy, local organic food to our guests, offer composting solutions, and teach environmental education.

ACCOMMODATION

Spirit mountain

We recommend participants staying at Spirit mountain bungalows for full immersion into nature right by the mountain.

MEALS

HEALTHY WHOLESOME FOOD

We will make every effort to accommodate everyone’s diet restrictions including having vegetarian and gluten-free options. Please indicate any special needs on your application.

Breakfast

At Spirit Mountain is a buffet comprising the following: yogurt, fruits, eggs, toasts, jam, juice, almond milk (on request), coffee, tea, pancakes, etc.)

Lunch

Lunches are included. For parents booking optional “parent” activities, please consult the itinerary.

Dinner

Dinners are not included but we will provide a list of the best options around. A community kitchen is also available for those staying at Spirit Mountain

Throughout your stay at Spirit Mountain, we offer optional wellness experiences (booked on demand). These include massage, yoga, Reiki, sound healing, nature therapy, Taichi, Qi gong, meditation and more.

packing essensials

WHAT TO BRING?

Pack light! No need for bulky items. Laundry will be available, and replacements can be purchased during the trip. Check out the suggested list, but feel free to modify based on your needs.

Clothing

Swimming suit, long sleeves lycra, shorts, dresses (avoid mini skirts and shorts), light shirts that cover shoulders, hat, sun- glasses, long sleeve light jacket, sandals, light hiking shoes, and reusable bag.

Personal items

Natural soap, shampoo & conditioner, reeve safe sunscreen, insect repellant, towel, electronics, headlamp, and small flashlight.

Miscellaneous

Copy of passport, laundry bag, small padlock, small journal or notepad and pens, musical instrument, sketch book, binoculars, dive mask, refillable water bottle, reusable straw.
