ABOUT THE CAMP

Set your imagination and adventurous spirits free! Learn about nature, its rhythms and patterns, understand its features and the us they can make of it not just towards surviving but thriving!

Building shelter, making fire, finding water, harvesting food and medicine, active living, collaborative mindset, pragmatism and leadership, dedication and respect.

Activities range from basic nature/environmental education to true survival skills.
Participants will gain confidence and comfort, in being outdoors, while having a great time.

APPROACH & OBJECTIVES

We aim at probing our children’s boundaries and by doing so offering them opportunities to discover the emotional skills as well as competencies they need to navigate the challenges coming with it. Through our activities and exposure to Nature pragmatism, there is a reasonably
high likelihood that participant will be exposed to hardship and discomfort. It is important that participants registering to this camp set their minds for it, particularly keeping their mind open to learning; accepting momentarily discomfort and

keep a positive attitude about it, cultivating solutions-oriented postures rather than ruminating and complaining; collaborate and communicate; etc.
Our experienced facilitators will be here to help them navigate challenges smoothly for best learning outcomes, not removing risk or challenge but guiding
learners how to best handle these challenges with the skills and competencies they have. The experiences proposed during this camp are meant to foster the
following competencies and skills

• Developing a sense of trust, leadership, self-confidence, spirit of discovery
• Consolidating fitness, balance, core and agility
• Cultivating a greater sense of belonging to nature
• Probing boundaries, enabling personal breakthroughs and building resiliency
• Enhancing collaborative skills, space sharing and capacity to engage
• Learn survival and wilderness skills
